Hypnosis has been used for eons. Hypnosis as trance, has been used by human beings since the beginning of human kind. Before we had pharmaceutical companies, and before humans developed Ether, hypnosis was used. It is interesting to note that people recovered quicker, and with less trauma and blood loss, when hypnosis was used in World War 1. Then as chemicals were developed people briefly moved away from hypnosis for a time. In 1955 the British Medical Association issued a report stating that hypnosis is a valuable medical tool. Then the American Medical Association recognized hypnosis as a viable scientific modality. In 1962 the American Psychiatric Association recognized hypnosis as a viable modality to treat some psychological problems.
Hypnosis is now used by thousands of people on a daily basis all around the world.
Hypnosis has become more and more popular as people embrace and request a more alternative way to heal. Hypnosis is a natural human state, very safe, usually permanent, and most importantly drug-free.
